A Journey from KINNA to Nashville

Born in Kinna, Sweden, Mimi began performing at the age of three. At 24, she followed her big dreams to Nashville, Tennessee, where she recorded her debut single “Forever Again” with the legendary musicians behind Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5.” That moment marked the start of an international journey rooted in authenticity and heart for Mimi

Melodifestivalen & National Spotlight

Mimi first gained national fame through Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s biggest music competition. She competed in 2016 with her self-written track she wrote in Nashville “Ain’t No Good” and returned in 2018 with “Songburning”, advancing to the Second Chance round. That same year, she released her debut EP Here We Go Again, featuring a duet with Swedish rock icon (and now husband) Brolle.

Together, they’ve toured extensively — from Rock’n’Roll On Tour in 2017 with Charlotte Perrelli to their sold-out Winter Classic Tour (2018, 2019, and 2024), performing in Sweden’s most beautiful churches.

In 2019, Mimi also joined the all-star lineup of Diggiloo, Sweden’s biggest traveling summer tour.

In 2023, Mimi opened The Civic — a Nashville-inspired Honky Tonk venue in the heart of Stockholm. Featuring live music, southern-style food, and high-energy atmosphere, Mimi and The Civic brings a slice of Music City to the Swedish capital.

In 2024, Mimi was hitting the road for her Hit the Road Jac Tour — a high-octane summer tour running from May through September, showcasing her original music, powerful vocals, and all the country-soul charm she’s known for. The tour was a collabortaion with the big brand JAC - electrical cars from China.

Recent Work

In 2022, Mimi released “Your Love”, a country single accompanied by a musicvideo filmed at Western Farm in Boden. Later that year, she paid tribute to Patsy Cline with a stunning, heartfelt version of “Crazy”, once again showcasing her signature blend of strength, grace, and vocal power.

Beyond the Music

Mimi is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of artists. She runs two creative studios — Mimis Dancestudio — in Skellefteå and Malå, northern Sweden. The studios serve over 300 students, including dancers, yoga practitioners, and circus artists. Through artist development classes and personal mentorship, Mimi helps young people find their voices, build confidence, and chase big dreams.

Alongside her husband Brolle, Mimi also serves as an ambassador for the aid organization Hoppets Stjärna (Star of Hope). In 2018, they traveled to Romania to bring music, education, and joy to children in need — a mission they continue to support through visits and outreach in communities like Vali Siaca.

Whether she’s commanding the stage, mentoring future artists, or spreading love and music abroad, Mimi Werner is a force of passion, purpose, and pure talent who writes her own music and is a force of love on stage.
